Wine Industry Leadership
Victorian Graduates
The first year of the Wine Industry Leadership Program (WILP) has ended on a high with 28 people graduating from the Program and intense interest in future courses being generated across Australia. The graduates of year one were of all ages and from all sectors of the industry including grapegrowing, winemaking, management, cellar-door, administration and marketing.

Australian Pruning Competition
Winter Vineyard Festival
Black cats, superstitious thick fog that didn’t want to lift and forty-five pruners armed with secateurs, wet weather gear and fierce determination to take home the title of 2007 Inaugural Australian Pruner of the Year met at Montara Winery, Ararat, Victoria on Friday 13th July.
The Inaugural Pruning Competition as part of the Winter Vineyard Festival was a huge success with competitors coming from South Australia, New South Wales as well as many different areas of Victoria to enjoy the competition, comradeship, machinery demonstrations as well as the lamb spit roast, cakes and mulled wine.
